This project was my entry for the Fountain of Hygiene: Sanitiser Design Competition
This concept seeks to encourage the use of sanitiser by children by adding the ability to play. Through the use of naturally derived ph indicators, and a paintbrush style dispenser, children can paint themselves in colour and watch it change as their skin is sanitised.
This concept reduces the packaging and mass of sanitiser in transport through the removal of water. The customer buys dry “cakes” of sanitiser and a reusable bottle and adds the water at home. Much of the developed world has water available at home already. By removing water in transport we can reduce packaging waste as well as reduce the energy requirements to ship the product.
